Location: Short Hills, New Jersey

SMCP, part of SMCP (Sandro & Maje), seeks a full‑time Operations Associate to support back‑of‑house and sales floor operations. The role focuses on inventory, visual merchandising, and customer service to ensure smooth store performance.

• Manage check‑in and processing of incoming merchandise.
• Coordinate store‑to‑store transfers and ensure timely movement of merchandise.
• Oversee markdown management, updating pricing and reflecting changes on the floor.
• Process RTVs (Return to Vendor) efficiently, maintaining clear records.
• Assist with floor sets, moves, and merchandising placement.
• Replenish merchandise regularly to maintain product availability.
• Adjust displays and signage to reflect brand aesthetics.

• Support shortage prevention strategies and protect store assets.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventory preparation.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
• Keep the stockroom organized and efficient.
• Implement best practices to optimize stockroom space and restocking processes.

• Assist with POS operations and ensure accurate customer transactions.
• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, enhancing their experience.

• 1+ years of sales support experience, including POS, merchandising paperwork, cycle counts, and inventory management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work within established timelines.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Brand‑appropriate personal presentation.
• Strong communication skills with team members and leadership.
• Flexibility with scheduling to meet business needs.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
