Team Lead - Short Hills

Summary

The Team Lead for the Short Hills store assists with day-to-day management and mentors Client Advisors while developing and maintaining a strong personal client business. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive both quantitative and qualitative results and to ensure an elevated experience for new and existing clients. The Team Lead acts as Manager on Duty as needed and leads by example on the sales floor.

• Assist Store Manager with daily management and mentor Client Advisors.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Manager or Store Operations Manager.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and support sales penetration through coaching and weekly meetings.
• Keyholder responsibilities including opening and closing the store.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in partnership with leadership.
• Resolve internal and external conflicts and assist team with client interactions as necessary.
• Guide VIP and executive client visits, presenting collections and store offerings.
• Partner with back-of-house to coordinate consignments, stock control, packing, and returns and complete related paperwork.

• 5+ years of experience in a retail environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisor or department manager role.
• Proven ability to drive positive customer interactions and meet sales targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication and excellent organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
