Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and cross‑selling banking products to existing and prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proactively prospect new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
- Meet the financial needs of customers across transactional, servicing, and product areas.
- Deliver an elevated customer experience, providing personalized, seamless, and attentive service.
- Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions.
- Engage customers through digital platforms, educating them on self‑service options.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or via digital channels.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.
- 3+ years of sales experience in an incentive‑based environment, or 12+ months in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales with proven success in customer acquisition and growth.
- 12+ months of successful Santander experience or endorsed performance by senior leaders (required).
- 12+ months of high‑volume, fast‑paced customer service experience.
- Strong relationship‑building skills focused on customer experience and loyalty.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.
- Proven track record in sales and cross‑selling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and influencing skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional and trustworthy image at all times.
- Proficiency in digital tools that enhance customer engagement.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to identify and report risk concerns to appropriate channels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Work within branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
- None required.
- Established work history or comparable experience through training, military service, or education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
