This role provides dual support to the Facilities department, balancing professional driving services with hands‑on facilities and general maintenance support. Approximately 50% of the role is dedicated to safely transporting employees and visitors, ensuring vehicle readiness, and maintaining accurate travel records. The remaining 50% supports day‑to‑day facilities needs, including office moves, room setups, deliveries, fleet coordination, and general maintenance and minor repairs.
The role helps ensure safe, reliable transportation services and supports the maintenance of efficient, well‑functioning workplaces across corporate locations, contributing to overall operational effectiveness and employee experience. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Safely transport employees, executives, and visitors in company vehicles to designated locations, ensuring a professional, comfortable, and secure experience. Provide assistance with passenger entry and exit, as well as handling luggage and travel items.
- Plan and execute efficient travel routes using navigation tools and real‑time conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform routine operator maintenance on assigned vehicles, including inspections, cleanliness, fueling, fluid checks, and coordination of scheduled service. Maintain accurate and timely travel and maintenance records.
- Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and workspace reconfiguration, room and classroom setups, supply deliveries, and other day‑to‑day maintenance and operational needs.
- Respond to routine facilities service requests and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance, including work on office furnishings, lighting, painting, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.
- Support fleet operations, including coordinating vehicle reservations and rentals, managing vehicle pick‑up and delivery for service, and supporting overall fleet logistics and readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activity, vehicle logs, and maintenance documentation; report incidents in accordance with policy.
- Perform general facilities maintenance, including minor repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and office furnishings.
- Support grounds and seasonal activities, including snow removal, light landscaping, and general exterior maintenance; respond as needed during off‑hours or weather‑related events.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management in support of transportation, fleet, facilities, and workplace operations.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record required.
- Strong customer service, communication, reliability, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and maintain a professional driving standard.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when interacting with passengers and sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of facilities and maintenance tasks; ability to use standard tools and equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work varied schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and off‑hours support as needed.
