Job DescriptionThe Assistant for Dispatch will track and coordinate customs procedures, report daily to internal clients about the status of their shipments. They will attend to requests, requirements, and complaints from client operations. They will manage the operations of import, export, and various regimes with different logistics operators. They will manage and comply with the requirements for release and delivery at the client's location.
They will enter incidents into SINTAD. They will report and digitize incidents of shipment, pre-weighing, etc. They will manage payments to third parties and prepare documents for invoicing and archiving.
- Receive and review the necessary documentation for the start of customs clearances.
- Verify that the documentation is complete and communicate any observations to the supervisor.
- Record information in the internal systems and update the status of assigned operations, whether import or export.
- Follow up on customs clearances until their completion, in the usual operations carried out.
- Coordinate with clients, warehouses, transporters, and other internal areas for the continuity of operations.
- Support in the management of procedures before the authorities when required.
- Keep the digital archive of dispatch services organized.
- Provide information about the status of invoices linked to the operations carried out.
- Support in the attention of documentary requirements related to the clearances.
- Report incidents or delays that may affect the development of operations.
- All other functions inherent to their position.
- Technical in Customs or Assistant for Dispatch, with customs certification.
- Holder of a Customs Assistant card.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operations area of Customs Agencies.
- Knowledge of the General Customs Law and its Regulations.
- Knowledge of tariff classification, taxation, and customs valuation.
- Knowledge of the table of penalties applied to infractions of the General Customs Law. Knowledge of anti-dumping or compensatory rights.
- Extensive knowledge in the management, procedures, and administration of import and export clearances; temporary and suspensive, knowledge of procedures: weighing, physical recognition, senasa, inrena, entry, etc.
- Knowledge and handling of customs software SINTAD.

Monday to Friday 9:00am-6:30pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 12:00pm - Grade: 002
