REPORTINGThis position reports directly to the Service Manager of the branch located in Millbury, MA.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIREDPrior experience in pest control is a plus but not required. We will provide comprehensive classroom and field training to ensure you feel capable and confident to excel in your position. The company administers our training program. If you have a strong work ethic and excellent customer‑service skills, we will provide you with every resource necessary to succeed.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThis position focuses on the organization’s main goal for sustainability: selling new services and re‑selling the value of existing clientele. Through inspections, estimates, new sales, and service itself, these individuals influence customer attrition and new customer growth.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Regular interaction with customers to troubleshoot problems and communicate service details.
- Work outdoors for most of the day.
- Lift at least 50 lbs.
- Crawl, kneel, and fit in tight spaces.
- Apply liquid treatments to soil.
- Perform basic drilling, trenching, and cleanup after a job.
- Data entry and documentation into mobile devices for performed services.
- Be flexible to work Monday‑Saturday during the summer season.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand simple documents regarding safety, regulatory, or protocol standards.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- A talent for solving practical problems and effective reasoning.
- Pass required exams as part of new‑hire training.
- Clean driving record.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screen.
This position will be trained by Insight’s online University Program, monitored by the Service Manager and Lead Technician, with ongoing support and supervision. The role is expected to ensure all customer relations are courteous, respectful, and friendly, guaranteeing continuous improvement of services.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSINGAll candidates must either have an existing license/certification or acquire one with company training assistance.

Dependent coverage is optional and available at group rates. All employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, which begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Employees receive corporate vehicle to perform duties; maintenance and fuel are company‑paid.
PERFORMANCE REVIEW PERIODSeasonal review ends at the close of the summer.
