Now Hiring – Registered Nurse – Millbury, MA
$45.00 Min to $50.00 Max – Compensation based on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, scheduled shift, and applicable differential for specific shift(s) and/or day(s).
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents according to the nursing process.
- May serve as Medication/Treatment Nurse, unit Charge Nurse, or Supervisor.
- Direct day‑to‑day functions of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations and facility policies.
- Assess and respond to resident conditions using the nursing process.
- Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain effective communication with the team to assure the highest standard of care.
- Complete LPN and CNA documentation of care and services rendered per facility policies.
- Prepare reports such as the 24‑hour change‑in‑condition report, Incident and Accident reports, etc., as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Provide immediate response to resident risk situations such as allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property.
- Report incidents promptly to the appropriate persons per facility policy.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration.
- Communicate with physicians and document changes in resident condition using objective and subjective assessment.
- Document and implement changes in nursing and medical plans of care.
- Ensure all interdisciplinary team members are aware of and understand changes in resident nursing or medical plans per policy and procedure.
- Associate’s Degree from a credentialed nursing school.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience.
