We work for some of the most prestigious municipal water authorities and energy pipeline companies in the world including but not limited to the City of Denver, City of San Francisco, Jordan Valley, North Jersey Water Supply Commission, Washington County Water, City of Denver; and energy companies like Bridger, Chevron, Epic, Dominion/Enbridge, DCP Midstream, Marathon, Phillips 66, Targa Midstream, Lower Valley Energy, United States Air Force, Williams Companies, etc.

We are seeking an experienced electronics technician to assist our team in fabricating critical sensor systems. This role will also have the opportunity to participate in prototyping and testing new technologies and developing novel encapsulation processes and 3D printed sensor support systems. This position will report to our electrical engineering team.

• Use mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and written instruction to build electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Solder electronic components onto circuit boards or other electrical equipment using surface mount, through hole, and wire to wire applications.
• Inspect finished products to identify any soldering defects or quality issues and assess if rework or repairs are needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Maintain and update documentation related to soldering processes, including quality control records, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide input on soldering techniques and contribute to product improvement and innovation.
• Participate in daily 5S activities

• Proficiency in soldering techniques, including through-hole soldering, surface mount technology (SMT) soldering, and rework/reflow soldering.
• Ability to learn new processes, procedures, functions, and best practices in an ever-changing environment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and perform intricate soldering tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
