The Department of Communication seeks two (2) Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalismand/or Professional Media Writing. The positions emphasizeeffective teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship of students preparing for careers in public relations, multimediajournalism, video and audio production, and other related communication fields. Additionally, the faculty may teach in theCORE. These non-tenure track faculty positions, based in the Department of Communication, are 10-month academic year positions.

These are full-time positions beginning August 2027, with the possibility of promotion to Senior Lecturer.

All Georgia College& State University faculty share the responsibility of teachingour core curriculum and providing foundation courses for majors andnon-majors alike.
