The College of Arts & Sciences seeks a Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Human Development, Statistics, & Research Methods at the undergraduate level. This non-tenure track faculty position, basedin the Department of Psychological Science, is a 10-month academic year position.

• Full-time instructional load teaching (5 courses) in areas of expertise within the academic discipline
• Regular course meetings and instruction
• Mentoring Students
• Other teaching responsibilities

Knowledge and ability to convey current philosophies, practices,and theories related to the academic discipline.

Faculty also contribute to the Georgia College & State University core curriculum by teaching topical freshman (GC1Y) or sophomore seminar (GC2Y) courses. All Georgia College faculty sharethe responsibility of teaching our core curriculum and providing foundation courses for majors and non-majors alike.

• All faculty are expected to help the department in recruitingmajors.
• Faculty members are expected to attend Department meetings andevents.

Faculty are expected to stay current in their field.

• Terminal degree in Psychology or a closely related field
