Assistant Professor of Finance

The J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor to teach courses in Finance. This faculty position, based in the Department of Economic & Finance, is a 10-month academic year position.

Responsibilities include full-time instructional load teaching in areas of expertise within the academic discipline, regular course meetings and instruction, mentoring students, and other teaching responsibilities. Faculty are also expected to conduct research and develop within the profession, as well as provide service to the institution.

Required qualifications include a terminal degree in a closely related field and some teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include instructor of record for college level classes in the related discipline and a record of scholarly activity, publications, or creative works.

The available salary range is $120,000. Starting salary within this range is based on relevant years of experience. Relocation is negotiable.
