Job Description
Parsons is seeking a Process Engineer to support complex industrial and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on delivering high-quality process design, coordinating across disciplines, and driving execution from concept through detailed design.
What You’ll Be DoingLead development of process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and heat and material balances
Perform process and hydraulic modeling to support design decisions and system performance
Support feasibility studies, including technical evaluations and cost inputs
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and controls teams for integrated design
Interface with vendors during equipment selection, bid evaluation, and submittal review
Support client discussions, resolve technical comments, and align on design direction
Provide guidance and support internal quality reviews
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (or related Engineering field)
8+ years of engineering experience
Strong experience developing and reviewing core process design deliverables
Ability to work across multiple disciplines in a project environment
Strong problem‑solving and analytical capability
Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or regulated environments
Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS)
Experience supporting feasibility studies and design engineering
PE license or working toward licensure
Experience with brownfield facility upgrades or expansions
