Materials And Purchasing Coordinator

Are you experienced in materials management. We are seeking a Raw Materials Manager to work with the facility Plant Manager to deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction and inventory management. Candidate must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of general industrial math skills. Other computer programs are utilized and candidate must hanve an understanding of how to operate within an environment of computer technology.

Must be able to convert product from square feet to linear ft. Inventory management will be performed in a manner that minimizes costs and maximizes inventory turnover. Inventory discrepancies will be investigated to determine root causes. Corrective actions will be implemented. Minimize excess and/or obsolete inventory. Conduct inventory adjustments as necessary to ensure the database system aligns with actual inventory.

Coordinate with Corporate Quality and Procurement to track supplier performance. Coordinate logistics for both suppliers and customers. Work directly with both suppliers and customers to ensure clear communication flows through the supply chain. Ensure all customer orders ship complete and on time. Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $16 - $16.75 per hour

Education:

High School

• Order raw materials and plant supplies
• Schedule production based on customer requirements
• Perform inventory management to minimize costs and maximize inventory turnover
• Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Minimize excess and/or obsolete inventory
• Conduct inventory adjustments to align database system with actual inventory
• Coordinate logistics for suppliers and customers
• Coordinate with Corporate Quality and Procurement to track supplier performance
• Ensure all customer orders ship complete and on time
• Work in a smoke-free environment

• Minimum 2 years of experience in raw materials management
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (2 years of experience preferred)
• Basic math proficiency
• Experience with purchasing/procurement
• Experience with inventory and materials management
• High School education
• Experienced level of candidate
