STGi is seeking a Floor Technician to provide services at the Georgia War Veterans Home. If you have compassion and a passion to care for Veterans, this could be the job for you!

Maintain or restore floors in highly trafficked areas.

• Clean, maintain, and/or restore floor surfaces.
• Sanitize highly‑trafficked spaces which may contain biohazardous waste.
• Even the gloss, polish, or sealant coating on surfaces with a cloth or specialized buffing tool.
• Utilize industrial or commercial grade cleaning products or equipment.
• Work in all areas of the facility.
• Move intermittently during working hours.
• Be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors.
• Communicate with maintenance personnel and other facility personnel.
• Work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary, as well as in other positions as needed.
• May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

• On the job training will be provided.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with resident community.
• 1 year experience.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
