Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Milledgeville clinical team. The ideal candidate is passionate about community health and providing comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.

This position is full-time; part-time availability may be considered for the right candidate.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform physical exams and preventive health screenings
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Georgia regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and performance measures
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in family practice, community health, or FQHC setting
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
