36–40 hours/week
Facility Size:  140 Licensed Beds

ED Beds:  22 beds plus surge capacity

Patient Ratio:

RN: 1:3–4 (zone-based)

LPN: 1:4

CNA: 2 per shift

Common Diagnoses:  Chest pain, stroke, diabetes, abdominal pain, MVCs, hypertension, mental health emergencies

Requirements

Active  Georgia RN License

Minimum  2 years ED RN experience

BLS

BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm)

ACLS

PALS

Preferred:

TNCC

National Emergency Nursing Certification

Drip management:
Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed

Nurse-draw phlebotomy

Telemetry monitoring (nurses read strips)

IV/VAT support (PICC coverage available)

Experience working in fast-paced ED environments

EMR:  EPIC

IV Pumps:  Alaris

Medication Dispensing:  Omnicell

Monitors:  Phillips

Equipment includes VS3 monitors, Glucommander, LUCAS, Rapid Infuser, Bearhugger, bladder scanners, portable oxygen, suction machines
