Compensation:

$38/hr+ (based on credentials and experience)

Incentives:

$5,000 sign‑on bonus available. No relocation packaged offered.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

This is an office-based position that supports our group home operations and requires routine visits to our residential homes. It is ideal for nurses seeking a more structured and steady‑paced environment outside of traditional fast‑paced hospital or SNF settings. Candidates with prior IDD and case management experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care and services to persons with disabilities by performing the following duties:
  • Assists professional staff in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
  • Performs medications storage assessment. Removes expired medications from circulation and access.
  • Takes historical information and records persons’ supported vital signs.
  • Observes persons’ supported mannerisms and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment as needed.
  • Advocates for individuals with IDD.
  • Participates as a part of the interdisciplinary team for the people we support.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, can pick up on nonverbal communication and is eager to provide quality services.
Job Requirements:
  • New graduates are encouraged and welcome to apply.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid state RN license.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and provide CPR after certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Flexible scheduling options are available.
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
Pre‑employment screening:
  • Complete criminal background.
  • Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
  • Drug testing.
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required).
  • Positions that require driving proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
