Base Compensation: $41–$46 per hour Available Shifts Evening: 3:00 PM–11:00 PMNight: 5:00 PM–5:00 AM Rotating weekends required
Additional Pay Evening shift differential:
Additional $2.00 per hour Night shift differential:
Additional $3.00 per hour Weekend coverage differential:

About Baldwin State Prison Baldwin State Prison serves incarcerated adult men, including individuals requiring close security, and carries a Special Mission designation. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, the facility provides:
Level III mental health services, including supportive living, acute care, and crisis stabilizationA 17-bed infirmary
On-site specialty clinics that provide care as needed
Mental health evaluations and support for six facilities

Employee Assistance Program Ongoing training and career development opportunitiesindmhm#AM Position Summary The Registered Nurse provides holistic, patient-centered nursing care to an incarcerated population within the RN scope of practice. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, identify, and respond to patients’ medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs.
Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care Complete nursing assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow established safety, security, and infection control procedures
Qualifications
Associate degree in nursing required
Active Georgia RN license or an active multistate/compact RN license authorizing practice in Georgia Current CPR certification
Ability to obtain required security clearance, including successful completion of a drug screen and background check
Availability to work the selected evening or night shift, including rotating weekendsindmhm#AM
