Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Single‑Family Electrical Supervisor to lead residential and commercial electrical projects in the Milledgeville, GA area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive electrical experience, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage crews, projects, and resources efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and supervise electrical crews to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
- Manage single‑family residential and commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in the field.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, local codes, and company standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Operate an excavator as needed for project completion.
- Conduct jobsite inspections and enforce OSHA safety standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, builders, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, permits, work orders, and inventory records.
- Train and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in single‑family residential electrical construction.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical work.
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate an excavator.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Well‑organized with strong project‑management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Work comfortably on ladders and at heights.
- Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Active residential construction sites and commercial job sites.
- Frequent travel within the designated service area.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as needed.
• Minimum pay: $25.00 / hr.
