Duties:

• Perform commercial remodeling and renovation work
• Finish carpentry and trim installation
• Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
• Accurate measuring, cutting, fitting, and installation
• Install floor tile, wall tile and back splashes in renovation and remodeling projects
• Prepare substrates properly before installation
• Perform mortar/thinset application
• Make accurate cuts around walls, corners, drains, niches, fixtures, and other obstacles
• Complete grouting, caulking, transitions, and finishing work
• Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment
• Measure, cut and bend pipe material
• Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend the best solutions
• Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance
• Read and follow plans, drawings, measurements, and layouts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete assigned work according to project specification and quality standards

Job Knowledge and

Educational Requirements:

• Job knowledge requires vocational or similar training, including basic shop math to aid in the interpretation and the utilization of data from engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures.
• High school diploma preferred; candidates with the ability to obtain an accredited GED are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

• Minimum of Five (5) Years' experience in Carpentry, Tile and Plumbing
