As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in a 23-bed unit, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities- Providing direct patient care in a 1:6 ratio, with a 1:5 ratio during weekday day shifts
- Floating to PCU for MSU assignments as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system
- Adhering to trauma level 3 protocols and procedures
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements for this role include:
Requirements- Current RN license
- BLS (AHA or ARC) and NIHSS certifications
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Ability to work every other weekend and up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks
