Maryland Environmental Service (MES) is seeking a Managing Director, Technical and Environmental Services (TES) to lead the TES Group at our Headquarters located in Millersville, MD. The role is a member of the MES executive management team and is responsible for the administration of Environmental Monitoring Water Quality, Environmental Management, Geospatial and Engineering, as well as Field Operations and Maintenance services and activities.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the TES Group and its operations.
  • Administer services in Environmental Monitoring Water Quality, Environmental Management, Geospatial, Engineering, and Field Operations and Maintenance.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in business development and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and securing billable environmental, engineering, technical, or scientific service opportunities and building strategic partnerships with public and private sector environmental service organizations.
  • Experience in the administration of engineering, environmental, technical, or scientific services, particularly in stormwater management, Geographic Information Systems, and energy-related projects.
  • Valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
  • Able to obtain clear pre-employment screening, including full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and a position-appropriate physical.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
