Division Chief – Environmental Dredging and Restoration Group
Location:
MES Headquarters, Millersville, MD.
The Maryland Environmental Service is seeking a Division Chief to develop, direct, and oversee multi‑disciplinary services for the planning, design, construction, site management, and documentation of projects and facilities, and supporting services for MES clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and direct multidisciplinary services for project planning, design, construction, site management, and documentation.
- Drive business development and manage large teams of technical and operational staff.
- Write technical documentation, perform strategic planning, and manage environmental and project initiatives.
- Oversee dredging projects, hazardous waste management, remediation, and projects related to dredged material management, environmental mitigation, restoration, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Minimum nine years of environmental, engineering, or marine activities and project management experience, with at least five years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in dredging projects, hazardous waste management, remediation, and related environmental projects.
- Valid driver’s license with less than 5 points.
