Student Worker - School of Social Work
School of Social Work Tasks– Work with Dr. DeJesus on varied tasks.
Student in good standing. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately. Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, or similar platforms. Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Commitment to confidentiality, reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct.
Assist with general office tasks, including scanning, copying, organizing materials, and maintaining department resources. Support communication with students, faculty, staff, community partners, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Help prepare materials for workshops and other campus recruitment events. Support department events by helping with setup, registration, sign-in sheets, materials, and follow-up tasks. Help maintain bulletin boards, Information table, digital announcements, newsletters, social media content, or other approved department communications.
Assist with special projects. Maintain confidentiality and handle student and department information with professionalism and discretion. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Hours per week - 10-15 hours. Days worked - varies. Hours/Shift worked - varies. Pay rate - $9.00/hour.
