Job Summary /Basic Function
Attend Tutoring / Peer Learning hours and assist students as needed.
Required Qualifications
* Must be a current Geography Major in good academic standing during the time of employment.
* Must have approval from Geography Tutoring Supervisor (currently Dr. Cuthbert).
* Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring.
* Must be referred by the faculty in the department.
* Must complete the three required clearances
* PA Criminal Background
* Child Abuse
* FBI Fingerprint
Preferred Qualifications
Job Duties
Tasks include but are not limited to:
* Contacting individual tutees and arranging sessions.
* Maintaining records for group tutoring sessions.
* Preparing for tutoring sessions.
* Promptly reporting hours, tutee attendance and other information as needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
* Be able to sit and work with students during entire tutoring session.
