Job Summary /Basic Function
Tutors must have earned a B+ or higher in the courses they tutor. The Tutoring Center is hiring math tutors for individual tutoring for students registered with the Office of Learning Services.
Required Qualifications

* Tutors must have earned a B+ or higher in the courses they tutor.
* Must complete the three required clearances
* PA Criminal Background
* Child Abuse
* FBI Fingerprint
Preferred Qualifications
Job Duties
Tasks include but are not limited to:
* Contacting individual tutees and arranging sessions.
* Preparing for tutoring sessions.
* Meeting with professors as needed for tutoring guidance.
* Promptly reporting hours, tutee attendance and other information as needed via email to the Tutoring Center and Learning Services.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
* Be able to sit and work with students during entire tutoring session.

* Previous experience is not required. After successfully completing 10 hours of tutoring, we offer Tutor Training Level 1 and Level 2 to tutors. Tutors are paid to attend the training and will receive an hourly wage increase upon successful completion of each level.
* Applicants must upload their most current My MarAUDIT report. Submit this under "Other Document 1."
