Millersville University's Writing Center is seeking a writing tutor to provide guidance with student papers, projects, and other writing-related needs.

Writing Center Hrs are M-Th 12-8PM and Fri 12-4PM

Required Qualifications:
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent oral communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to use Zoom)
Willingness to perform varied duties
Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time
Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints)
Preferred Qualifications:
Responsible for guiding students' writing
Responsible for assisting students in developing writing strategies
Responsible for sharing writing resources with students
Work in-person, on Zoom, and online
Log tutor sessions
Complete chosen Writing Center specialty role
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Be able to sit and use a computer for the length of shift
