** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
*** Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions, including recurring journal entries, month-end account reconciliations, and GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) reconciliation.
* Research and analyze general ledger account variances to support financial accuracy and insight.
* Manage the Fixed Asset process for the site including CER, oversee fixed asset accounting, and generate reports for users.
* Lead inventory reconciliations and inventory count processes, including tracking open purchase orders, conducting monthly inventory reporting, and supporting materials forecasting.
* Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team, including KPI and shipment reporting (BOL tracking and creation), ad hoc data requests, and project work.
* Maintain SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance documentation, support ongoing SOX compliance initiatives, and provide required materials for internal and external audits.
* Collaborate within the accounting center to support team work load and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
** YOU HAVE:
*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of accounting experience is required.
* Experience with Oracle and/or One Stream is helpful.
* Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
* CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Able to present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of our multi-faceted organization.
* A collaborative teammate and self-starter who is looking to grow professionally.
* Ability to travel quarterly to our Millington, MD location (applicable to candidates hired at alternate locations).
