Postal Services Position
You will provide a variety of postal services in the mail facility at the assigned command.
You will open containers, bags, and pouches, sign for accountable mail, and sort mail by primary distribution point.
You will receive, sort, and distribute outgoing postal, consolidated/guard mail, and packages received from authorized commands.
You will operate a wide variety of automated processing equipment such as the Mail Arrival Tracking System, postage machines, facility microcomputers, and bar-code scanners.
You will load/unload mail onto a motor vehicle.
You will operate a motor vehicle for delivery and pickup up material between the main office and predetermined routes.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
