Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care and assist with the daily flow of the office.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
- Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions as directed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked operatories.
- Assist with lab cases and clinical documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide a welcoming and positive patient experience.
- Work cooperatively with the entire dental team.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Required certifications/credentials per state regulations.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Dependable, punctual, and organized.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care.
