Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW/OS) with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will serve as the project coordinator for NRC initiatives.
* You will identify information technology (IT) project requirements (e.g., scope, deliverables, or other project requirements) to support customer requests and mission requirements.
* You will perform a risk analysis of information technology (IT) systems to identify problems and recommend solutions.
* You will lead study projects to identify and validate information technology (IT) operational requirements and priorities.
* You will diagnose operating systems to maintain reliability of services.
* You will discuss operational issues with customers to determine fault troubleshooting operations.
* You will manage the implementation of a total life cycle configuration management for an organization. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (801), proficiency level (Intermediate) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Applying project management methodologies to develop and manage complex projects,
2) Developing and maintaining project schedules to identify deviations and initiate timely corrective actions,
3) Utilizing interviewing techniques to elicit requirements and develop documentation to evaluate the feasibility of new applications,
4) Applying software design principles and methods to design, develop, and integrate system components, ensuring alignment with planned application strategies and data environments, and
5) Presenting technical and project-related information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
