Opportunity Highlights- This position is located in Millington, TN
- The hours for this position will be on first shift, 5AM-1:30PM, Monday-Friday.
- Pay rate for this position is $19.06 per hour, paid weekly!
- Forklift, backhoe, and track hoe experience is strongly preferred
As a Solids Consolidation Operator at Tradebe, your role in Area 217 involves overseeing the movement and transfer of outgoing shipments at the designated plant for off-site disposal.
This is more than just a heavy equipment operator role —you’llalso pitch in across the plant, helping with drum handling, forklift operation, and other key support duties that keep the operation running smoothly.
Key Job Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, trackhoes, and forklifts.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment in safe working condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading drums, roll-offs, and end dumps for off-site disposal.
- Open, process, and label waste materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
- Support area compliance and safety efforts, including documentation and reporting.
- Cross-train in other departments to support solidification and stabilization processes.
- Help out with other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Backhoe and/or trackhoe experience is required
- One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
- Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus
- Forklift experience, a plus
- The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required
- Ability to work required shift
- Ability to read, write and speak English
