Production Manager | Millington, TN | Direct Hire
You will own all manufacturing activities at the site: production planning and scheduling, workforce leadership, quality management, safety culture, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of production supervisors and are expected to be a genuine operator who understands the floor as well as the numbers.

What you will do- Direct daily production operations and ensure throughput, quality, and safety targets are met
- Manage and develop a team of production supervisors; own their performance and development
- Lead production planning and scheduling; hold budget accountability at the production level
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
- Own the safety culture on the production floor and enforce compliance with environmental and OSHA requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain
- 5+ years of production or operations management in a heavy industrial, chemical, or process manufacturing environment
- Experience leading multiple supervisors, not just a direct crew
- Direct ownership of production planning, scheduling, and budget
- Quality management experience: root cause analysis, ISO compliance, or equivalent QMS
- Demonstrated safety program leadership
- Lean/Six Sigma or CI project experience is a strong plus
