As a Beer Adventurer, you will be part of a fun, fast-paced environment serving as an ambassador for SNBC and the craft beer industry by providing tours of our facility and educational beer tastings in the tasting room, garden, or via virtual platforms.

compensation for this role ranges from $14.35 to $22.17 hourly. Offers are based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Responsibilities- Provide experiences and information about Sierra Nevada history and culture, the brewing process, the craft beer industry, beer styles, and sustainability practices while ensuring guest safety.
- Provide administrative and guest support, including Tour Desk support, answering phones, responding to voicemails or emails, online bookings, ticketing information, and Tour Lobby housekeeping.
- Support retail/Gift Store sales, First Impression Team duties, and the overall Guest Experience department mission as needed.
- Beer tending and general bar service, guided tastings, bar cleanliness, and inventory communication; follow the First In, First Out rule.
- Maintain cleanliness of Tour Areas, including glassware management after tour departures and organization at the Tour Desk (reservation sign-in, badges, etc.), plus opening and closing duties.
- Maintain complete and accurate tour records.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Direct or experiential marketing experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn and convey detailed, precise, and often scientific information in an engaging manner to diverse groups.
- Passion for craft beer and the ability to describe and evaluate beer qualities and characteristics.
- Ability to complete training to evaluate beer flavor profiles and participate in our Sensory Panel.
- Certification: TIPS Alcohol Certification within 90 days is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment background check after offer.
