Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN​/Registered Nurse; RN

The Lodge at Mills River is a 50‑bed skilled nursing facility with 38 private rooms located in Mills River, North Carolina between Asheville and Hendersonville. The Lodge is looking for a full‑time RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals working the 7 pm‑7 am night shift. We are currently offering a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Applicants must have an unrestricted RN or LPN license and current CPR certification.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN or LPN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education for our residents. These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication‑related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents and notify the physician of changes in status, promptly implementing and documenting new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
