Job Description
WSFS Bank’s Personal Bankers provide products and services that enhance customer relationships. They educate customers on their financial needs, recommend appropriate products and services through in‑person interactions and outbound calling efforts, open new accounts, submit loan applications, comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements, resolve customer service issues, perform account maintenance, promote digital banking services, assist with teller transactions, and process various transactions in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8 AM – 6 PM, Saturdays 9 AM – 1 PM (2–3 Saturdays per month).
Location:
role will travel to branch locations within Sussex County, DE.
Personal Bankers undergo a 4–6 month training program that covers transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, customer service, relationship building, and the use of banking applications. Continuous learning, classroom instruction, and hands‑on experience prepare new associates to provide stellar service and become engaged members of the organization.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $37,440 – $52,800. In addition to base pay, eligible associates may receive discretionary and formula‑based incentive and retention awards.

Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have at least one year of face‑to‑face customer service experience.
- Previous cash handling experience is required.
- Prior consultative sales experience is required.
- One year of previous banking experience is preferred.
- Must have a proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner.
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred.
- Must have a proven ability for attention to detail.
- Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs.
- Must possess proven, excellent customer service skills.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to market bank products and services.
