Wastewater Level Operator

Overview

A Wastewater Level A Operator understands most of the overall operations and should be able to rebuild all pumps and equipment. The candidate will hold a Level III WW license and have at least two years of experience acting in a Direct Responsible Charge role.

• Assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for the water treatment system, including oversight of all required monitoring and reporting sample results required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, and report unsafe acts and conditions. Implement Lockout/Tagout procedures and address Process Safety Management matters.
• Operate the water treatment system, maintain the maintenance schedule, and respond to repairs.
• Compliance recordkeeping.
• Perform process control lab work.

• Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent credit hours in another Board-approved curriculum.
• 4 years of acceptable operating experience in wastewater facilities of Class II or higher; two years in a Direct Responsible Charge role.
• Level III WW license.
