Part Time Dairy Frozen Clerk

Position Overview

Part‑time role. Responsible for processing/stocking products according to Dairy/Frozen Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, reloading salvage, and performing frozen food clerk duties when assigned.

  High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months related training/experience; or equivalent combination.

  Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to complete required training, work with team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

  Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; write simple correspondence in English; present information to customers or associates who only speak English.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Add/subtract two‑digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply commonsense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Certificates/Licenses: Complete company training: new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, product knowledge.

The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing; tasting or smelling. Occasionally climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6–72 inches. Required vision abilities: close vision, color, depth perception.

Cool environment with an average temperature of 34–36 °F; frequently wet/humid, moving mechanical parts, occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals. Frequent exposure to extreme cold in the freezer at −20 °F. Noise level typically moderate to loud.

Pay: $15.35–$18.75 per hour for newly hired associate; may vary with experience and skill set.
