Position: Operations Technician (TCP)

Job Description

What you can expect

Starting on day one, you will receive training to follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to all safety and company policies while performing advanced laboratory services. Across your career, we provide ongoing development through training classes, workshops, and meetings to enhance job skills and product‑related procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a variety of manufacturing equipment while completing processes throughout the manufacturing cycle
  • Assist with equipment setup and operation
  • Perform manual and/or automated operations, general maintenance, and support functions
  • Maintain housekeeping in all work areas—execute facility decontamination according to approved procedures
  • Assist with performing aseptic procedures including media preparation, antigen inoculation and harvest, tissue culture preparation and harvest, filling vaccines, etc.
  • Assist with performing non‑aseptic procedures including handling of live poultry in the process of harvesting tissue and waste
  • Fill, label, cap, package, and inspect product
  • Perform concurrent record‑keeping including charts, log books, and all pertinent documentation
  • Identify and address compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations as appropriate while notifying appropriate personnel
  • Account for accumulation, labeling, and management of hazardous wastes, if appropriately trained
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment; understand and comply with all safety and company policies and procedures
  • Assist in weekly reports as assigned
  • Attend training classes, workshops, and meetings as required to improve job skills and product‑related procedures
Required Education
  • High School diploma/GED
Required Experience
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment with training
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • General knowledge of reading, mathematics, and computer skills
  • Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with other employees in a manufacturing environment
  • Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test
Working Conditions
  • Varying hours based on business needs
  • May require a rotating shift
  • Flexibility to work overtime is required
  • Travel is not part of this position
Salary

Salary range: $48,600 - $76,600. The final compensation will depend on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, and other factors.
