Store Customer Service Rep
We are searching for qualified customer service reps with strong personality and people skills.
Responsibilities- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately perform precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Orientation and training provided on the job.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F to 90 °F and above in some work areas.
- Hot surfaces or tools up to 500 °F or higher.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Standing most tasks; walking surfaces include ceramic tile bricks with linoleum in some food process areas; height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48 inches.
- Walking: paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck; deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Carrying: large cans weighing about 3 pounds, 7 ounces; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds; trays of pizza dough each weighing approximately 12 pounds.
- Pushing: moving trays on dollies requires force of up to 7.5 pounds; trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing: occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
- Forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station; repeated continuously during the day.
- Crouching/Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching: frequently up, down, forward; above 72 inches to turn ovens on/off, change price signs, lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
- Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; shaping pizza dough requires forearms and wrists; manipulating pizza peel and rolling cutter; pinching in assembling cardboard pizza boxes; grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and boxes.
