Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Dover, DE
Pfizer is seeking a Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) to promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels, driving sales and building relationships within the assigned territory.
Role Responsibilities- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage with customers both face to face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, identifying and executing live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments, utilizing digital tools for customer engagement.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Use product and disease state knowledge and approved clinical information to meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across public health, private market, and retail channels.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly (e.g., logging calls, submitting expenses, responding to sales leadership requests).
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience: professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service or account management, or full‑time military experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards (no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years).
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales and/or medical‑related marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management, communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with vaccines therapeutic area and products.
- Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Residence within the territory boundaries.

June 16, 2026. - Annual base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600.
- During initial new hire sales training, employees are classified as a salary non‑exempt employee entitled to overtime pay; upon training certification, employees become overtime‑exempt.
- Additional quarterly sales incentive bonus.
- Benefits include 401(k) plan with Pfizer matching and additional retirement contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits covering medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
- Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
