Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced commercial plumber. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various small and medium commercial plumbing projects. This role requires leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a full understanding of commercial plumbing installation.
Duties:
- Report to commercial supervisor and foreman for project information and tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and report to field supervisor to keep projects on track
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety and efficiency on the construction site
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections of the site
- Meet deadlines and schedules
- Work with other departments and or take on additional duties as necessary
- Make material lists and call for part deliveries
- Proven experience in a commercial plumbing role
- Strong knowledge of construction operations
- Proficient blueprint reading skills with an understanding of technical drawings
- Ability to effectively lead teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts on-site
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction management
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must pass drug test
