In this role, you will perform routine inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, execute necessary repairs, and help implement preventative maintenance practices to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities- Inspection & Diagnostics: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical diagnostics on fleet assets.
- Repair & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to maintain fleet safety and operational readiness.
- Preventative Care: Implement preventative maintenance protocols to reduce equipment downtime and prevent major failures.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to less experienced mechanics on the team.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on mechanic experience.

Skills:
Basic computer literacy for logging repairs and maintenance records. - Licensing & Clearance: Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a required background/security clearance.
- Brake Certification or Refrigerant Recovery/Handling Certification.
- Hands-on experience working with diesel engines.
