Paraprofessional
Paraprofessionals support teachers and students by facilitating one-to-one or small-group instruction, assisting with classroom management, and implementing special education plans (IEPs). Paraprofessionals should be collaborative, adaptable and willing to take initiative. Paraprofessionals will assist in Resource Rooms, Autism, Cog mild, ERI, 1:1, and MD classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or minimum of (48) credits from an accredited college/university, OR, passing score on the Parapro Praxis Exam (minimum score 456) ETS Para Pro | Prometric
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Ability to take direction and work cooperatively with other educational professionals
Starting Salary Range: $23,738.
-$26,238.
