DescriptionTemporary leave replacement position 9/1/26-1/1/27. Mt. Pleasant School is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to serve as a kindergarten teacher. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to fostering the academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth of our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment while planning and delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
The teacher will support students in building foundational literacy, mathematics, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills through hands‑on learning experiences, play-based instruction, and meaningful family partnerships.
- NJ certification – Teacher of Elementary K-6, or Teacher of PK through Grade 3
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educational professionals
$64,234 – $88,724
