Role Overview The primary purpose of the Asset Management Intern is to support the development and implementation of a data-driven asset management program within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on improving asset reliability, optimizing lifecycle costs, and reducing operational risk through structured data, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Work On (Real Projects)
Build & clean asset datao Structure asset hierarchy (plant line equipment) o Standardize naming and attributes in CMMS / ERPIdentify critical assetso Analyze which equipment drives production, cost, and risko Support creation of a criticality ranking model

Improve maintenance effectivenesso Review preventive maintenance planso Identify gaps between planned vs reactive work Support planning & executiono Help track weekly maintenance schedule so Analyze backlog and downtime trends

Turn data into insightso Create simple dashboards (Excel / Power BI / Tableau) o Present findings to site leadership

What We Value Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Curiosity about manufacturing and asset performance

Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams

Basic understanding of reliability and maintenance concepts

Proficiency in Excel and data handling

Effective communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

Studying Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics Curious about how things work on the shop floor

Strong in Excel and problem-solving

Comfortable working with both data and people

Preferred (Nice to Have)
Exposure to CMMS / ERP systems (e.g., SAP PM)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Basic understanding of maintenance or manufacturing processes
