This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook position located at Trout National in Millville, NJ. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities include adhering to recipe specifications, maintaining food safety and sanitation, assisting with kitchen inventory, and collaborating closely with the culinary team to ensure all dishes meet the high expectations of our guests.
Qualifications- Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
- Expertise in food safety, sanitation protocols, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Ability to follow recipes, manage portion control, and maintain consistency in food presentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
