Summary:
Under the direction of the Director, Accounting/Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the company’s daily financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, General Ledger Accounting & Payroll, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) controls. This position is located in Milpitas, California.
- Review journal entries for the monthly and quarterly accruals and close.
- Manage all activities related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, General Ledger Accounting & Payroll.
- Manage various Accounting/Finance audit requirements.
- Comply with SOX by ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and adhered to.
- Review, edit, and document accounting processes and procedures, and recommend methods for increasing operational efficiency.
- Review, prepare, and file reports for various governmental agencies.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as required.
- Assist tax provision calculations.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Eight years of experience working in accounting and finance (preferred experience in a high‑tech environment).
- Hands‑on experience using Oracle or other similar financial accounting applications.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with SOX requirements and controls.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with established safety procedures.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll and tax provision calculations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, presentations, and Word documents.
- Skill at analyzing data and creating reports or charts.
- Skill at taking initiative to improve processes or practices.
- Able to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and management.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals, teams, and departments.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure timely completion.

The annual rate for this full‑time position is between $ and $, plus bonus target and benefits. The individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job‑related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The annual pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.
Working ConditionsAccounting Manager works primarily in an office environment from Monday through Friday. The schedule may be altered from time to time to meet business or operational needs and may require traveling between buildings as needed. The role spends a majority of time in a seated position, but may occasionally stand and walk; performs various fine grasping or manipulation, bends and twists;
operates a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment; and may occasionally be required to push, pull, or lift up to 10 pounds.
