BRIXCO Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Asphalt Paver Operator to join our experienced paving crew. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art paving equipment to construct and repair roadways, parking lots, and other asphalt surfaces across the Bay Area. As a core member of our field team, your precision and quality focus will directly contribute to the success of high-impact civil construction projects.

• Operate asphalt paver and related equipment to apply asphalt on roads, parking lots, and paved surfaces.
• Monitor paving speed, mat depth, and temperature to ensure quality and specification compliance.
• Coordinate material delivery with dump truck drivers for seamless asphalt flow.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, perform minor maintenance, and report mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work zone in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with crew members including laborers, roller operators, and foremen for smooth jobsite operation.
• Assist with other paving-related duties as assigned by the foreman.

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating an asphalt paver on civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with paving procedures, materials, and jobsite protocols.
• Ability to read project plans, grades, and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.

• Experience operating Weiler, Caterpillar, Bomag, or Vogele paving machines.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and daily maintenance ability.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
