English Pastor (Full-Time)

Crosspoint Church of Silicon Valley is a multi-campus church with five campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are in transition to intergenerational ministry so that the whole church can worship together, grow together, and serve together as a big family of God. The English Pastor will serve like a church planter and develop and oversee the English-speaking ministry, including students and youth at our Pleasanton campus.

The church will provide resources and help recruit leaders for the ministry.

The English Pastor will serve under the supervision of the Campus Pastor and manage the English-speaking ministry, recruiting, training, and equipping leaders, preparing weekly services, and leading mission trips.

The candidate should be a mature Christian with a clear calling from God for full-time Christian ministry. The candidate should be professionally trained with an MDiv. Degree or equivalent, and at least 3-year related experience.

• Pleasant, friendly, energetic, love to work with people.
• Gifted in teaching and shepherding with a passion for evangelism and disciple-making.
• Able to envision, plan, organize, and execute programs.
• Team player with a positive, humble servant attitude.
• Familiar with the purpose-driven church paradigm (preferred).

The English Pastor will serve under the supervision of the Campus Pastor.

• Serve like a church planter to develop and oversee the English ministry.
• Provide leadership in the development of small groups and worship.
• Coordinate with other ministerial staff and/or ministry directors to provide materials and ideas for the English-speaking program and related activities.
• Recruit, train, equip, and disciple leaders for the ministry and mobilize them to support church direction and activities.
• Supervise, evaluate, and care for the leaders of the ministry.
• Preach, teach, and conduct seminars and workshops on a weekly basis.
• Organize and lead short-term mission trips and retreats.
• Prepare an annual budget for the ministry.
• Attend Campus Council meetings and church-wide activities.
• Support and help other ministers succeed in ministry.
• Attend pastoral staff meetings, training, and retreats.
• Assist other church ministries assigned by the Senior Pastor.
